  2. 2
Students rate themselves and their teammatesEach one splits the credit, so a strict rater and a generous one count the same.

Features for team projects

Fair to every rater

Each student splits the credit across the team, so how hard someone grades does not tilt the result.

Marks only you see

An amber dot marks a result worth a second look, such as a self-rating far from the team's.

No accounts for students

Students sign in from an emailed link, with no password.

Bring your TEAMMATES rosters

Import a TEAMMATES download and the rosters and teams come across. That service ends on December 31, 2026.

Questions

Do students need an account?

No. Students sign in from an emailed link, and adding them to a roster sends nothing until an evaluation opens.

Can students see each other's ratings?

No. Once you publish, each student reads one plain sentence about their own share of the work.

Do the grades go to my LMS on their own?

No. You preview them first, then send them to one column in your LMS gradebook, or download a spreadsheet.

Does it work with my textbook?

Yes. It works in any course with team projects, whatever textbook you teach from.
